Wonderful
Very close by to Omiya (Tohoku shinkansen) station. Nearby are 24hrs (Matsuya?) I think. Right in the heart of Saitama.

Mediocre, beware late check in.
Clean, good location about 5 min walk from Omiya JR station. The free breakfast was... OK but nothing special.
4pm check in, strictly enforced. Four staff at front desk, yet when you're finally allowed to check in, you have to do it yourself. I had 2 rooms booked so takes some time scanning passports etc. If you sign up to their loyalty prog for 1500 yen then you get to check in at 3pm. Overall impression: they didn't really want to provide service, maybe better if you're Japanese.
